Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360)

Single Player:

Playing through this game by yourself is insanely fun.  You will most likely be shocked, even if you come from a GTA background, at some of the missions you will encounter.  The game takes quite alot of hours to play all the way through, and by the end of the story you are usually only 60% completed with the game.  There are a ton of cheats and unlockables, and different types of stunt jumps to find hidden.  So much is to be done in this game that you can easily find yourself completely immersed and have hours go by without even realizing it.  This game would be worth buying even if you dont have Xbox Live.  There is a large array of weapons to select from, cars to drive, outfits to dress yourself up in, and places to call home.  So this game is pretty much everything you could imagine…and then some, it is most definitely everything that its been hyped up as by gamers all over.

Single Player – 4.5/5

Multiplayer:

If you get a chance to jump on Xbox Live with this game you will have a blast.  It is such a different experience having such a large area to roam with other players from around the world, and doing whatever you feel.  You can explore the city with a friend and have random gunfights, find hidden glitches and areas, or just enter into free for alls. If you do they are pretty intense I will warn you.  The action is very fast paced and you will encounter extremely good players.  There are also other modes in multiplayer like racing (with or without weapons) that are also alot of fun to take part in. Only problem really is that sometimes it can get very laggy moreso than other games it seems, which makes it very annoying to play.

Multiplayer – 4/5

Graphics:

The graphics in this game are stunning to say the least.  The city is so realistic, I feel like Im really driving around New York its awesome.  The character models are great, the cars are very well done, and everything moves the way it should.  Really not much to complain about when it comes to the graphics.

Controls:

Everything from driving a car to shooting a gun, to just running around the town is pretty solid.  I wouldnt say it cant be improved on but it is definitely good enough. Drive is difficult on occasion depending on the car you are in, but then again some of those cars wouldnt be so easy to drive in real life either.

Control – 4/5

Overall this game is one that will not soon be forgotten, and it seems like its leading into the next of the series perfectly but stay tuned to gamercountry.com to keep updated on future GTA games!
